1168/2017: உலப்பனையிலுள்ள கைத்தொழில்பேட்டை: விபரம்

கௌரவ மஹிந்தானந்த அளுத்கமகே,— கைத்தொழில் மற்றும் வாணிப அலுவல்கள் அமைச்சரைக் கேட்பதற்கு,—

(அ) (i) நாவலபிட்டிய தேர்தல் ஆளுகைப் பிரதேசத்திற்கு சொந்தமான உலபனையில் அமைந்துள்ள கைத்தொழில்பேட்டையை ஆரம்பிப்பதற்காக கடந்த அரசாங்கத்தினால் ஒதுக்கப்பட்ட பணத்தொகை யாது என்பதையும்;

(ii) அங்கு எத்தனை தொழிற்சாலைகள் ஆரம்பிக்கப்பட்டு இயங்கிவந்தன என்பதையும்;

(iii) தற்போது மூடப்பட்டுள்ள தொழிற்சாலைகளின் எண்ணிக்கை யாது என்பதையும்;

அவர் இச்சபைக்கு அறிவிப்பாரா?

(ஆ) மேலே (அ) (i) இல் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ள கைத்தொழிற்பேட்டையை மீண்டும் கட்டியெழுப்புவதற்கான புதிய வேலைத்திட்டமொன்று தயார் செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளதா என்பதை அவர் இச்சபைக்கு அறிவிப்பாரா?

However, measures are being taken to lease the land blocks allocated to the closed down factories to new industrialists after their project proposals are processed and recommended by the Regional Industrial Service Committee and Ministry’s Project Evaluation Committee and thereafter with the approval of the Cabinet Ministers.

(b) Yes.

During the last two years, improvements have been made to infrastructure facilities by constructing drainage systems and by renovating main road about 1000 metres and byroads about 410 metres in length spending Rs. 29 million. Besides, street lampposts have been erected on both sides of the internal roads. It is planned to construct an administration building and install fire extinguishers in the industrial estate in this year. The Department of National Planning has allocated Rs. 20 million for these purposes.
