(அ) (i) ஊழியர் சேமலாப நிதியினால் கடந்த இரண்டு வருடங்களாக கொழும்பு பங்கு பரிவர்த்தனை நிலையத்தில் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்ட பட்டியலிடப்பட்ட பங்குகளின் சகல கொள்வனவுகள் மற்றும் விற்பனையினையும் வெவ்வேறாக யாதென்பதையும்;
(ii) ஒவ்வொரு பரிமாற்றத்திற்கும் பொறுப்பான தரகர்களின் பெயர்களையும்;
(iii) தரகுக் கட்டணங்களை வெவ்வேறாகக் குறிப்பிட்டு ஒவ்வொரு கொடுக்கல் வாங்கலுக்கான செலவினையும்;
(iv) மேற்குறிப்பிட்ட 2 வருட காலப்பகுதியில் ஒவ்வொரு பங்குத் தரகர் கம்பனிக்கும் செலுத்தப்பட்ட தரகுக் கட்டணத்தினையும்
அவர் இச்சபைக்கு அறியத்தருவாரா?
(ஆ) மேலே (அ) (i) இல் தரப்பட்ட ஒவ்வொரு பங்குகளின் கொள்வனவு அல்லது விற்பனைக்கு இரண்டு வாரங்களுக்கு முந்திய மற்றும் கொள்வனவு அல்லது விற்பனையிலிருந்து இரண்டு வாரங்களில் சந்தை நிறைவு பெறும் போதிருந்த விலையை அவர் கூறுவாரா?

Hon. Speaker, on behalf of the Minister of Finance and Planning I answer the Question as follows:
(a) (i) During 2010 and 2011 EPF carried out 3,937 purchases and 1,453 sales through the Colombo Stock Exchange.
As per Section 5 (1)(h) of the Employees’ Provident Fund Act, No. 15 of 1958, the Monetary Board has published a statement of investment showing purchase price (cost) and market value of equity market transactions for 2010. It is a long list which is given in Annex I and I table* it now.
Information in respect of the investments made during 2011 has been submitted to the Hon. Minister of Finance together with the Annual Accounts of 2011. Notwithstanding the fact that we have still not got the final approval, I table* that also in the draft stage which is given in Annex II.
(ii) The EPF has been carrying out stock market transactions during 2010 and 2011 through brokers whose names are given in Annex III, which is a long list. There were 24 companies each in 2010 and 2011.

(iii) The total volume of equity market transactions carried out through brokers during the period 2010 and 2011 were Rs. 37,178 million and Rs. 35,104 million, respectively. The total transaction cost including brokerage amounted to Rs. 256 million and Rs. 285 million during the period 2010 and 2011 respectively, the details of which are given in Annex IV. Sir, I table* Annex IV.
