Main Business of the House for Today
Following Items (appearing as Item Nos. 1 and 2 of today’s Order Paper) were passed by the House:-
(i) Regulations under the Imports and Exports (Control) Act
(ii) Order under the Strategic Development Projects Act
(iii) Second Reading of the “Philip Gunawardena Commemorative Society (Incorporation)” Bill (appearing as Item No. 3 of today’s Order Paper) was moved by the House and referred to the Standing Committee (Legislative) “A”.
The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1744 Hrs. until 1300 Hrs. on Wednesday 04th September 2013.
