Hon. I. Charles Nirmalanathan,— To ask the Minister of Prison Reforms, Rehabilitation, Resettlement and Hindu Religious Affairs,—
(a) Is he aware —
(i) that the vehicle bearing number WPGD-4998 belongs to the Ministry of Hindu Religious Affairs;
(ii) of the name of the person under whose custody the aforesaid vehicle which was purchased and registered in year 2000 is currently kept; and
(iii) that the aforementioned vehicle was being utilized by a powerful political figure of the Chavakachcheri area some time ago?
(b) If so, will he inform this House whether he will take steps to regain the aforementioned vehicle for the use of his Ministry?
(c) If not, why?
