Hon. Nalin Bandara Jayamaha,—To ask the Minister of Power and Renewable Energy,—
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) of the objective of establishing Lanka Coal Company (PVT) Ltd;
(ii) the total number of employees of the company to date;
(iii) of the Chairman and the Board of Directors of the aforesaid company;
(iv) of the salaries and all allowances obtained by the Chairman, the Board of Directors and the employees of aforesaid company, in the month of July 2016;
(v) whether the objectives of establishing aforesaid company, have been achieved; and
(vi) whether aforesaid company is capable of handling a serious business undertaking like purchasing coal?
(b) If not why?
