Hon. Nalin Bandara Jayamaha,— To ask the Minister of Highways, Higher Education and Investment Promotion,—
(a) Will he state—
(i) the length and width of the road relevant to the Kadahapola-Rambawewa Road Development Project in Kurunegala District;
(ii) the timeframe required for rehabilitation of the said road;
(iii) whether the constructor of that road was selected through a tender procedure;
(iv) if so, the name of the bidder/institution selected;
(v) the source from which funds are obtained for the said project; and
(vi) the construction cost per kilometer of the said road?
(b) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether a programme to control traffic on that road while construction work is underway, has been identified; and
(ii) if so, the amount allocated for that purpose out of the total project cost?
(c) Will he also state—
(i) the number of parties aggrieved as a result of implementing that project;
(ii) whether the persons so aggrieved have been paid compensation; and
(iii) if so, the details of those who were paid compensation?
(d) If not, why?

(උදා - මාර්ග සංඥා, මාර්ග බාධක, රාත්රී කාලය සඳහා භාවිතා කරන විදුලි ලාම්පු)
(ii) රුපියල් මිලියන 16.1කි.
(ඇ) (i) මෙම මාර්ගය සංවර්ධන කිරීම සඳහා ඉඩම් අත්පත් කර ගැනීමක් සිදු කර නැත. මාර්ගය පුඵල් කිරීමේ කටයුතු සිදු කිරීමේදී ඉඩම් හිමියන් ඒ සඳහා ලබා දුන් භූමිය පමණක් භාවිත කර මාර්ගය සංවර්ධනය කර ඇත.
