Hon. Anura Dissanayake,— To ask the Minister of Finance,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) separately, of the total volume of ethanol that was imported annually to Sri Lanka during the past three years;
(ii) of the amount of tax that is levied on the importation of ethanol for the purposes of manufacturing liquor and manufacturing perfume;
(iii) separately, of the volumes of liquor products and perfume products that were manufactured using ethanol that was imported during the last three years; and
(iv) separately, of the names of companies that imported ethanol for the production of liquor and for the production of perfume?
(b) If not, why?

(ii) මත්පැන් නිෂ්පාදනය සඳහා එතනෝල් ආනයනය කිරීමේදී රඳවා ගැනීමේ බද්දක් අය කරනු ලබන අතර මත්පැන් බෝතල් නිෂ්පාදනයේදී පමණක් සුරා බදු අය කරනු ලැබේ.
එතනෝල් ආනයනය කිරීමේදී ශ්රී ලංකා රේගුව විසින් අය කරන බදු ප්රමාණය ඇමුණුම 01හි දැක්වේ. ඇමුණුම සභාගත* කරමි.
(iii) මත්පැන් නිෂ්පාදනය සඳහා ආනයනය කරනු ලබන ස්ප්රීතු හා දේශීය වශයෙන් ලබා ගන්නා ස්ප්රීතු මිශ්ර කිරීමෙන් පසුව නිෂ්පාදන සඳහා යොදා ගනු ලබයි. එම මිශ්රණ අනුපාත මත්පැන් නිෂ්පාදන ආයතන හා මත්පැන් වර්ග අනුව නිෂ්පාදකයාගේ අභිමතය පරිදි සිදු කරනු ලබයි.
ආනයනික එතනෝල්වලින් නිෂ්පාදනය කරන ලද සුවඳ විලවුන් ප්රමාණය පහත පරිදිය.
