Hon. (Al-Haj) A. H. M. Azwer,— To ask the Minister of Highways, Ports and Shipping,—
(a) Is he aware that—
(i) the road leading to the village named Selvapuram in Udappuwa gets crumbled from time to time and turns into a state similar to a heap of earth; and
(ii) school children and sick persons face numerous hardships in passing through this road?
(b) Will he inform this House whether action will be taken to reconstruct the aforesaid road, taking into consideration the circumstances mentioned above?
(c) If not, why?
