Hon. Ashok Abeysinghe,— To ask the Minister of Highways, Ports and Shipping,—
(a) Will he state—
(i) the date on which the Galle Harbour Development Project was initiated;
(ii) whether the work of the aforesaid project has been completed;
(iii) the number of ships that arrived at the Galle Harbour during the period from the year 2008 to 2013;
(iv) the amount of money that has been paid as consultancy fee for the second phase of the aforesaid project; and
(v) whether he is aware that the Galle Harbour has continuously been incurring losses?
(b) If not, why?
