Hon. Gamini Jayawickrama Perera,— To ask the Minister of Indigenous Medicine,—
(a) Will he state—
(i) whether steps have been taken to implement a programme to provide employment to all the unemployed Ayurvedic graduates;
(ii) the year in which the appointments were given to the Ayurvedic graduates in the government sector for the last time; and
(iii) the number of Ayurvedic graduates who were given appointments on that occasion ?
(b) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the amount of money spent by the government for an Ayurvedic medical graduate;
(ii) of the number of dispensaries that are closed down due to the lack of Ayurvedic doctors; and
(iii) whether steps have been taken to assign Ayurvedic doctors to those dispensaries ?
(c) If not, why ?

(අ) (i) ඔව්. රැකියා විරහිත සියලු ආයුර්වේද උපාධිධාරින් හට රැකියා ලබා දීම සඳහා දැනට කටයුතු කරගෙන යන අතර, මේ වන විටද රැකියා විරහිත පිරිසත් නවක ආයුර්වේද වෛද්යවරුන් ලෙස බඳවා ගැනීම සඳහා අයදුම්පත් කැඳවීමට පියවර ගෙන ඇත.
(ii) 2012 වර්ෂය
(iii) 264කි.
(ආ) (i) උසස් අධ්යාපන අමාත්යාංශයෙන් ලබා ගත් තොරතුරු අනුව ආයුර්වේද වෛද්ය උපාධිධාරියකු බිහි කිරීම සඳහා වසර පහක කාලයක් තුළ වැය වන පුනරාවර්තන වියදම රු.1597980කි.
(ii) ආයුර්වේද වෛද්යවරුන්ගේ හිඟය හේතුවෙන් කිසිම ආයුර්වේද බෙහෙත් ශාලාවක් වසා ඇති බවට වාර්තා වී නැත.
(iii) අදාළ නොවේ.
(ඇ) පැන නොනඟී.
