Hon. P. Harrison,— To ask the Minister of Public Administration and Home Affairs,—
(a) Will he state —
(i) the number of institutions that come under the purview of the Ministry of Public Administration and Home Affairs;
(ii) the number of government vehicles that come under each such institution;
(iii) the grades of the officers of those institutions to whom government vehicles have been assigned;
(iv) the number of vehicles falling under the supervision of those officers?
(b) Will he inform this House —
(i) of the number of vehicles in the institutions coming under the aforesaid Ministry that have been obtained on rent basis;
(ii) the method of payment of rent adopted in relation to those vehicles;
(iii) the total amount of money paid annually as rent on those vehicles; and
(iv) the officers who use those vehicles obtained on rent basis ?
(c) Will he also state —
(i) whether a methodology to distinguish government vehicles under this Ministry, vehicles obtained on rent basis, and personal vehicles of the officers is in place?
(ii) if so, whether a clarification in that regard is made;
(iii) whether the state insignia and the name of the relevant institution are engraved in the government vehicles that come under the Ministry and the institutions coming under it; and
(iv) if not, the reasons for that?
(d) If not, why?

(iii) ශ්රී ලංකා පරිපාලන සේවයේ විශේෂ ශ්රේණිය සහ I ශ්රේණිය. ගරු මන්ත්රීතුමනි, මීට අමතරව ප්රාදේශීය ලේකම්වරුන් ලෙස සේවය කරන ශ්රී ලංකා පරිපාලන සේවයේ II ශ්රේණිය සහ III ශ්රේණියේ නිලධාරිනුත් අයිති වෙනවා, ප්රාදේශීය ලේකම්වරුන් හැටියට.
ශ්රී ලංකා ගණකාධිකාරී සේවය I ශ්රේණිය;
ශ්රී ලංකා කෘෂිකාර්මික සේවය I ශ්රේණිය;
ශ්රී ලංකා ඉංජිනේරු සේවය I ශ්රේණිය;
රෙජිස්ට්රාර් ජනරාල් සේවය
(iv) 383යි. අදාළ ආයතනවල සෙසු වාහන ඒ සම්බන්ධයෙන් බලය පවරන ලද ප්රවාහන නිලධාරින්ගේ අධීක්ෂණය යටතේ ඇත.
(ආ) (i) කුලී පදනම මත වාහන ලබා ගෙන නොමැත.
(ii) අදාළ නොවේ.
(iii) අදාළ නොවේ.
(iv) අදාළ නොවේ.
(ඇ) (i) ඔව්.
(ii) මෙම අමාත්යාංශයේ හෝ ඒ යටතේ ඇති ආයතනවල කුලී පදනම මත ලබා ගත් වාහන නොමැත. එබැවින් චක්රලේඛ අංක 26/92 සහ 26/92(1) ප්රකාරව අමාත්යාංශයේ සහ අදාළ ආයතනයන්හි වාහන සඳහා රාජ්ය ලාංඡනය සමඟ අදාළ ආයතනයේ නම යොදා ඇත. ආයතනයේ නම සහ රාජ්ය ලාංඡනය යොදා නොමැති ආයතන කිහිපයකට එම චක්රලේඛ අනුව කටයුතු කරන ලෙස දන්වා ඇත. නිලධාරින්ට අනුයුක්ත වාහන සංචිත වාහන හා නිලධාරින් විසින් භාවිතා කරන පෞද්ගලික වාහන වෙන වෙනම ලේඛන ගත කර ඇත.
