Hon. Dayasiri Jayasekara,— To ask the Minister of Sports,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the number of matches included in the test cricket match series held in Sri Lanka in the months of March and April in the year 2012 ;
(ii) of the stadiums in which the aforesaid matches were played ;
(iii) of the number of seats available in the spectators’ stands in each of the aforesaid stadiums;
(iv) of the amounts charged for the seats in the spectators’ stands in the aforesaid stadiums;
(v) of the price of one ticket for watching this match series;
(vi) of the period of time for which the aforesaid ticket was valid;
(vii) whether a minimum amount of Rs. 5000 has been charged for one seat at the spectators’ stands in the aforesaid stadiums; and
(viii) if so, the reasons for it?
(b) If not, why ?
