Hon. Ishak Rahuman,— To ask the Minister of Fisheries ,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the number of fresh water fingerlings released to the tanks/reservoirs in Anuradhapura district from 2016 to 2020 and the fish harvest obtained through that, separately with respect to each year;
(ii) whether he is satisfied about the fish harvest obtained in comparison to the fingerlings released to those tanks/reservoirs; and
(iii) of the measures taken to promote fresh water fishing industry in small tanks?
(b) If not, why?
