Presentation of Reports from the Committees

(i)    The Report of the Legislative Standing Committee on the Bill entitled “Institute of Environmental Professionals, Sri Lanka (Incorporation)” together with the Minutes of the proceedings was presented by the Chair of the Committee, the Hon. J. M. Ananda Kumarasiri.
(ii)    The First and Second Reports of the Committee on Public Accounts for the Fourth Session of the Eighth Parliament were presented by the Chair of the Committee, the Hon. Lasantha Alagiyawanna.
(iii)    The First Report of the Committee on Public Enterprises for the Fourth Session of the Eighth Parliament was presented by the Chair of the Committee, the Hon. Sunil Handunnetti.
(iv)    The Report of the Sectoral Oversight Committee on Energy was presented by the Hon. (Prof.) Ashu Marasinghe, member of the Committee on behalf of the Chair of the Committee, the Hon. Chandima Gamage.
(v)    The Report of the Sectoral Oversight Committee on Health and Human Welfare, Social Empowerment was presented by the Hon. Duleep Wijesekera, member of the Committee on behalf of the Chair of the Committee, the Hon. Mylvaganam Thilakarajah.

Adjournment Motion

Adjournment Motion on “The Forensic Audit Report regarding the issuing of Treasury Bonds by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL)” was proposed by the Hon. Sunil Handunnetti.
