Hon ( Mrs.) Shanthi Sriskandarasa,— To ask the Minister of Agriculture,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether he is aware that farms were started in the Mullativu District under the programme ‘Haritha Yugayak Kara’ (Towards A Green Era) implemented by the organization named ‘Seva Lanka’;
(ii) if so, where each such farm is located, separately in respect of each Divisional Secretariat Division;
(iii) what amount of money was incurred by this programme;
(iv) whether he is aware that the farms are no longer put to use; and
(v) whether he will take action to hand over these farms to registered organizations in the area?
(b) If not, why?
