Hon. Vasudeva Nanayakkara,—To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of National Policies and Economic Affairs,—
(a) Will he admit that—
(i) I asked a question in Parliament on 05th July, 2016 regarding the bank accounts maintained by Sri Lankans in various countries of the world;
(ii) a pledge was given that all information pertaining to the said question would be looked into and this House would be briefed on same?
(b) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether he admits that he has failed to provide the relevant answer though long period have lapsed by now since the question was asked;
(ii) whether action was taken by the government at the diplomatic level, to obtain a comprehensive report on the bank accounts maintained by Sri Lankans in various countries?
(iii) if no action was taken, the reason for same?
(c) If not, why?
