Hon. Dullas Alahapperuma,—To ask the Minister of City Planning and Water Supply,—
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) the number of regional centres of the National Water Supply and Drainage Board located in Matara district;
(ii) the places in which the aforesaid centres are located;
(iii) the number of household and business water connections that had been given by the aforesaid regional centres up to 31. 12. 2014 separately;
(iv) the number of household and business water connections given by the aforesaid regional centres during the period from 01.01.2015 up to now separately?
(b) Will he also inform this House —
(i) the amount of money spent for the drinking water requirement in Matara district in each year during the period from the year 2013 up to 2016, separately;
(ii) the number of drinking water projects implemented by National Water Supply and Drainage Board in Matara district during the period from the year 2013 up to 2016;
(iii) the number of consumers who have applied for drinking water connections in each Divisional Secretariat Division in Matara district by now, separately;
(iv) the date on which water connections will be given to them?
(c) If not, why?
