Hon. Anura Dissanayake,— To ask the Minister of Finance,—
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) separately, of the total volume of ethanol that was produced by Pelwatta and Sevanagala Sugar Companies during the period from the year 2013 to August, 2014;
(ii) separately, of the volume of ethanol that was used to produce liquor and the volume of ethanol that was used to produce perfume out of the aforesaid volume of ethanol on each of the years;
(iii) of the taxes that are levied per liter in the production of liquor and perfume; and
(iv) of the names of liquor manufacturing companies and perfume manufacturing companies that purchased the aforementioned ethanol?
(b) If not, why?
