Hon. Anura Dissanayaka,— To ask the Minister of Finance,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether interviews were held on weekends of 31st May, 1st June and 07th and 08th June 2014 for the recruitment of employees to the grade of Banking Assistants (Clerks) of the National Savings Bank;
(ii) if interviews were held, whether applications were called through notices published in the gazette or newspapers;
(iii) if such open applications were not called, what was the methodology adopted in calling candidates for the interview; and
(iv) whether there was a plan to recruit this group prior to the Uva Provincial Council election?
(b) If not, why?

(iii) බැංකුවේ බැංකු සහකාර I තනතුර සඳහා අපේක්ෂක ලැයිස්තුවක් තමා වෙත ලැබී ඇති බව සභාපතිනිය විසින් 2014.05.08 දින පැවති අධ්යක්ෂ මණ්ඩල රැස්වීමේදී අධ්යක්ෂවරුන් වෙත දන්වා ඇති අතර, අධ්යක්ෂ මණ්ඩලය විසින් එම තනතුර සඳහා බඳවා ගැනීම සම්බන්ධයෙන් මුල පිරීමට එකඟතාව පළ කර ඇත. ලද අයැදුම්පත් පරීක්ෂා කර බැලීමෙන් අනතුරුව බැංකු සහකාර I තනතුරට අදාළ බඳවා ගැනීමේ පටිපාටියට අනුව සුදුසුකම් ඇති අයැදුම්කරුවන් තෝරා ගැනීම පිණිස සම්මුඛ පරීක්ෂණ සඳහා කැඳවන ලදී.
(iv) නැත.
(ආ) බැංකු සහකාර I තනතුර සඳහා අවසන් වරට බඳවා ගැනීම් සිදු කරනු ලැබූවේ 2012 දී වන අතර, 2014 වර්ෂයේ පැවති පුරප්පාඩු සලකා බලා බැංකු සහකාර තනතුර සඳහා ඉහත කී බඳවා ගැනීම් සිදු කරන ලදී.
