Hon. Ajith P. Perera,— To ask the Minister of Justice,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether the drafting of the Bill for the Protection of Witnesses has been completed;
(ii) if so, whether the Bill will be submitted to the Consultative Committee on Justice;
(iii) of the reasons for the delay in imposing laws regarding the rights of witnesses; and
(iv) of the officers responsible for such delay?
(b) If not, why?
