Hon. Ashok Abeysinghe,— To ask the Minister of Health and Indigenous Medicine,—

(a) Will he inform this House—

(i) of the total number of pharmaceuticals registered in this country;

(ii) of the methodology that is in existence at present to register the pharmaceuticals; and

(iii) whether there is a plan to implement a certain methodology to control the registration of pharmaceuticals?

(b) If not, why?

(අ)          (i)      8,100 කි.

              (ii)      අයදුම්පත් භාර ගැනීම.

                         මූලික ඇගැයීමට ලක් කිරීම.

                         අහඹු ලෙස සාම්පල් පරීක්ෂාව.

                         ඖෂධ විශ්ලේෂක අනුකමිටුව මඟින් නිර්දේශ ලබා ගැනීම.

                         අනුමත ඖෂධ සඳහා ලියා පදිංචි සහතිකය ලබා දීම.

                         (වසර 05කට සහ වසරක් පාසා ආනයනික/නිෂ්පාදක බලපත් නිකුත් කිරීම.)

(iii) මේ සඳහා නව ඖෂධ පනතට- අද පාර්ලිමේන්තුවට ගෙනාවාට පසුව- රෙගුලාසි ගෙන ඒමට යෝජනා වී ඇත. එමඟින් එක් ඖෂධයක් සඳහා වන නිෂ්පාදන වෙළෙඳ නාම - Brands -  සංඛ්‍යාව සීමා කිරීමට පනතේ සඳහන්ව ඇත.
