Hon. (Mrs.) Rosy Senanayake,— To ask the Minister of Petroleum Industries,—
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) whether a large number of metric tons of furnace oil produced at the Sapugaskanda Refinery was exported after July 2013 due to lack of storage facilities;
(ii) the name of the variety of the furnace oil so exported;
(iii) the price at which a ton of the particular variety of furnace oil referred to above was sold;
(iv) whether a tender procedure was followed in exporting the furnace oil concerned; and
(v) the amount of money derived out of the sale of this furnace oil?
(b) If not, why?
