Hon. Sajith Premadasa,— To ask the Minister of Health,—
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) of the amount of money spent for the blood bank that was constructed at the Wathupitiwala Hospital out of the money from the Anura Bandaranaike Fund;
(ii) whether he admits that the blood bank has been closed down after its inauguration; and
(iii) of the date on which it will be commissioned for public use as it has been designed for the use of the patients who come to the Wathupitiwala Hospital for treatment?
(b) If not, why?
