Hon. Shantha Bandara,— To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of Buddha Sasana and Religious Affairs,—
(a) Will he state—
(i) the number of recognized political parties in Sri Lanka;
(ii) out of those political parties, whether there are any political parties that obtain funds from foreign countries;
(iii) whether the aforesaid political parties that obtain foreign funds are being monitored;
(iv) if so, the institution which conducts it; and
(v) whether the methodologies adopted for the purpose of obtaining the above mentioned funds by the political parties which obtain foreign funds, are being monitored ?
(b) If not, why ?
