Hon. (Dr.) Bandula Gunawardana,—To ask the Minister of Tourism Development, Wildlife and Christian Religious Affairs,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the manner of 100 million rupees that was allocated for training courses relating to the tourism industry, as per proposal number 243 of the 2016 budget was utilized;
(ii) as per the above proposal were 12,000 youth with 3000 youth per quarter trained; and
(iii) the institutions or organizations which implemented this training programme and the total amount of money paid to those institutions on organizations during the year?
(b) If not, why?
