Hon. Padma Udhayashantha Gunasekera,— To ask the Minister of Primary Industries and Social Empowerment,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) the economic indicators used for measuring poverty in Sri Lanka;
(ii) accordingly, the number of poor people as of now;
(iii) the 10 poorest Divisional Secretariat Divisions in Sri Lanka;
(iv) whether he will submit a comprehensive report on poverty of Sri Lanka by provinces and districts; and
(v) whether he will submit a comprehensive report on poverty of Sri Lanka during the past 10 years?
(b) If not, why?
