Hon. Hesha Withanage,— To ask the Minister of Power, Energy and Business Development,—
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) whether a programme has been launched to provide electricity to the low income families in Sabaragamuwa Province;
(ii) the number of families that has been provided with electricity by now under the aforesaid programme after the Good Governance government came into power, on Divisional Secretariat Division basis separately; and
(iii) the methodology followed by the Provincial Council in selecting the aforesaid beneficiaries?
(b) If not, why?
