The Parliamentary Caucus for Persons with Disabilities for the Tenth Parliament was established on 11th March 2025, under the Chairmanship of Hon. Sugath Wasantha de Silva, M.P. with Hon. Gayantha Karunathilleka, M.P. and Hon. (Dr.) Pathmanathan Sathiyalingam, M.P. as Deputy Co-Chairs.
The aspiration of the Parliamentary Caucus for Persons with Disabilities is to identify the problems/expectations/suggestions of the disabled community and provide solutions, thereby ensuring an unhindered social life for them.
