The Privilege motion that the question of privilege arising out of the matter raised by Hon. Ajith Kumara, M.P. in Parliament on February 22nd, 2012, moved by the Hon. John Amaratunga, was referred to the Committee on Privileges under Standing Order 127.
Main Business of the House for Today
The following Items (appearing as Item Nos. 1 and 2 of today’s Order Paper) were passed by the House:-
(i) Land (Restrictions on Alienation) Bill – with amendments
(ii) Regulations under the Sri Lanka Export Development Act
The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1925 Hrs. until 1300 Hrs. on Tuesday 21st October 2014.
