(vi) Progress Report of the Ministry of Civil Aviation for the year 2012


Private Members’ Bills

(i) The Hon. Abdul Haleem was granted leave to introduce the Bill, entitled
"Jamiah Rahmaniya Arabic College, Akurana (Incorporation)"

(ii) The Hon. Buddhika Pathirana was granted leave to introduce the Bill, entitled
"Seretse Khama Foundation Trust (Incorporation)"

(iii) The Hon. Hunais Farook was granted leave to introduce the Bill, entitled
"Galhinna Jamiathul Faththah Arabic College (Incorporation)"


The Bills (i) & (iii) above were referred to the Minister of Buddha Sasana and Religious Affairs and the Bill (ii) above was referred to the Minister of Social Services for report to Parliament under Standing Order 47 (5).


Main Business of the House for Today

Regulation under the Sri Lanka Press Council Law

was passed by the House.


Motion at the Adjournment Time

Motion at the Adjournment Time on “Shortage of fertilizer” was moved by the Hon. P. Harrison.


The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1923 Hrs. until 1300 Hrs. on Thursday 6th June 2013.
