House agreed to a Motion moved by the Hon. Leader of the House of Parliament for a further extension of time till 31st of August 2013.


Private Members' Bills

The Hon. Dilum Amunugama was granted leave to introduce the Bill, entitled
"Densri Education Foundation (Incorporation)"

The above Bill was referred to the Minister of Education for report to Parliament under Standing Order 47 (5).


Main Business of the House for Today

Following Items (appearing as Item Nos. 1 to 11 of today's Order Paper) were passed by the House:-

(i) Regulations under the Import and Export (Control) Act
(ii) Regulations under the Land Development Ordinance
(iii) Nine Resolutions under the Appropriation Act


Motion at the Adjournment Time

Motion at the Adjournment Time on "Women's cricket in Sri Lanka" was moved by the Hon. Victor Antony.


The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1900 Hrs. until 1445 Hrs. on Friday 31st May 2013.
