Presentation of Reports from Committees
The Report of the Standing Committee “B” on the Bill entitled
"Society of the Ceylonese Brothers of St. Joseph (Amendment)" together with the minutes of the proceedings was presented.
Private Members' Bills
The Hon. Hunais Farook was granted leave to introduce the following (Incorporation) Bills;
(i) United Muslim Ummah
(ii) Sri Lanka Hira Foundation
The above two Bills were referred to the Minister of Social Services for report to Parliament under Standing Order 47 (5).
Adjournment Motion
Adjournment Motion on "Flood Situation in the country" was moved by the Hon. Ravi Karunanayake.
The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1830 Hrs. until 1300 Hrs. on Thursday 10th January 2013.
