Appropriation Bill (2013) – Committee Stage
Today is the Twenty Third Allotted Day of the Appropriation Bill (2013) – “Committee Stage Debate”.
The Appropriation Bill (Budget) 2013 was passed with amendments by the House today, with a majority of 101 votes.

The following Items (appearing as Item Nos. 2 to 15 of today’s Order Paper) were passed by the House:-
(i) Four Orders under the Special Commodity Levy Act
(ii) Two Orders under the Excise (Special Provisions) Act
(iii) Three Orders under the Excise Ordinance
(iv) Resolution under the Customs Ordinance
(v) Order under the Ports and Airports Development Levy Act
(vi) Three Orders under the Sri Lanka Export Development Act
The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1900 Hrs. until 1300 Hrs. on Tuesday 8th January 2013.
