Presentation of Bills

The Hon. Minister of Water Supply & Drainage and Chief Government Whip of Parliament moved the following Bills:-

1. Notaries (Amendment)

(to amend the Notaries Ordinance)

2. Registration of Documents (Amendment)

(to amend the Registration of Documents Ordinance)


Main Business of the House for Today

Following Items (appearing as Item Nos. 1 and 7 of today’s Order Paper) were passed by the House:-

• Six Regulations under the Food Act
• Select Committee of Parliament to inquire and report on strengthening the independent character of the Parliamentary Service


Motion at the Adjournment Time

Motion at the Adjournment Time on "Appreciation of service of Urban Development Authority" was moved by the Hon. (Alhaj) A.H.M. Azwer.


The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1915 Hrs. until 1300 Hrs. on Wednesday 21st September 2011.
