Ministerial Statements
(i) Hon. (Dr.) Anil Jayantha, Minister of Labour and Deputy Minister of Finance and Planning, on behalf of the Minister of Finance, Planning and Economic Development replied to the Questions raised by the Hon. Ravi Karunanayake under the Standing Order 27(2) of the Parliament on 17.03.2026 and 08.04.2026 regarding ‘Regulation of cryptocurrency and other digital assets’ and ‘Issues regarding official recognition, acceptance of hard currencies in Sri Lanka for transaction and settlement’ respectively.
(ii) Hon. Major General (Rtd.) Aruna Jayasekera, Deputy Minister of Defence, on behalf of the Minister of Defence replied to the Question raised by the Hon. (Dr.) Ramanathan Archchuna under the Standing Order 27(2) of the Parliament on 07.05.2026 regarding Misuse and measures on restitution of non-released lands of Tamil people in North.
