1 : Endorsement of the certificate on a Bill under Article 79 of the Constitution
2 : Members to serve in the Select Committee of Parliament to look into and report to Parliament on the matter of selecting the Electoral System under which the Provincial Council Elections should be held and submit its proposals and recommendations in that regard
Presentation of Reports from the Committees
(i) The Report of the Committee on Standing Orders regarding the amendments to the Standing Orders 119 and 120 was presented by the Hon. Speaker, the Chair of the Committee.
(ii) The Report of the Sectoral Oversight Committee on Science, Technology and Digital Transformation was presented by the Hon. (Dr.) Janaka Senarathna, Member of Parliament, the Chair of the Committee.
(iii) The Report of the Sectoral Oversight Committee on Economic Development and International Relations was presented by the Hon. (Mrs.) Nilanthi Kottahachchi, Attorney at Law, Member of the Committee, on behalf of the Chair of the Committee.

Ministerial Statements
(i) Hon. (Dr.) Anil Jayantha, Minister of Labour and Deputy Minister of Finance and Planning replied to the Question raised by the Hon. Ravi Karunanayake under the Standing Order 27(2) of the Parliament on 18.12.2025 regarding details and issues in Commercial and Non-Commercial loans.
(ii) Hon. Ananda Wijepala, Minister of Public Security and Parliamentary Affairs replied to the Question raised by the Hon. Sajith Premadasa under the Standing Order 27(2) of the Parliament on 19.02.2026 regarding details of Sri Lanka police service and government measures against local and international crime network.
Adjournment Motion
Adjournment Motion on “Issues relating to Power Sector” was proposed by the Hon. S. M. Marikkar, Member of Parliament.
The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1750 Hrs. until 0930 Hrs. on Tuesday 3rd March 2026.
