Ministerial Statements
Hon. Vijitha Herath, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism replied to the Question raised by the Hon. Dilith Jayaweera under the Standing Order 27(2) of the Parliament on 04.06.2025 regarding Tourism industry issues.


Presentation of Bills
The Hon. Minister of Justice and National Integration moved the following Bills entitled-
(i)    Judicature (Amendment) - to amend the Judicature Act, No. 2 of 1978.
(ii)    Poisons, Opium and Dangerous Drugs (Amendment) - to amend the Poisons, Opium and Dangerous Drugs Ordinance (Chapter 218).


Adjournment Motion
Adjournment Motion on “Current situation of the Country after the disaster caused due to the inclement weather” was proposed by the Hon. Manjula Suraweera Arachchi, Member of Parliament.


The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1730 Hrs. until 0930 Hrs. on Friday 19th December 2025.
