The Hon. Vijitha Herath was granted leave to introduce the Bill, entitled "Pahalagama Sri Somarathana Nayaka Thero Foundation (Incorporation)".

Main Business of the House for Today

The following items (appearing as Item Nos. 1 to 6 of today’s Order Paper) were passed by the House:-

(i) Regulations under the Imports and Exports (Control) Act
(ii) Order under the Tobacco Tax Act
(iii) Order under the Excise Ordinance
(iv) Order under the Excise (Special Provisions) Act
(v) Two Orders under Special Commodity Levy Act


Motion at the Adjournment Time

Motion at the Adjournment time on "Palastine aid ship attacked by Israel Force" was moved by the Hon. (Alhaj) A.H.M. Azwer.


The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1625 Hrs. until 0930 Hrs. on Thursday 10th June 2010.
