(ii)   Performance Report of the Department of Inland Revenue for the year 2018
(iii)  Performance Report of the Department of Fisheries & Aquatic Resources for the year 2018

(iv)    Report on the Submission of observations and steps taken in terms of the Standing Order 119(4) of the Parliament with regard to the matters mentioned on the performance of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption for the year 2017 in the Third Report for the Third Session of the Eighth Parliament of the Committee on Public Accounts  which was presented to Parliament on 21.06.2019
(v)    Regulations made by the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation under Section 237 of the Motor Traffic Act (Chapter 203) read with Section 164 of the aforesaid Act relating to Signs, Signals, Symbols and Road Markings and published in the Gazette Extraordinary No. 2128/9 of 18th  June 2019

House agreed to the following Motion moved by the Hon. Gayantha Karunatileka, the Chief Government Whip,

Legislative Standing Committee

That notwithstanding the provisions of the Standing Order 51(3)(b) of the Parliament, this Parliament do grant the Legislative Standing Committee an extension of time till 29th November 2019 to submit its report to Parliament on the “Draft Statute of Tourism Development Bureau of Uva Provincial Council” which was referred to it by the  Speaker on 27th June 2019.


Votes of Condolence

Vote of Condolence on the late Hon. Chandrasiri Gajadeera, Member of Parliament, was taken up and completed.


Adjournment Motion

Adjournment Motion on “Wild Elephant attacks on human life and their properties” was proposed by the Hon. Shehan Semasinghe.


The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1706 Hrs. until 1300 Hrs. on Tuesday 8th October 2019.
