Hon. Bimal Rathnayake,— To ask the Minister of Law and Order,—
(a) Will he state the number of complaints received by the Financial Crimes Investigation Division from 2015 to 30th June, 2017 separately in respect of each year?
(b) Will he also state separately in respect of each year from 2015 to 30th June, 2017—
(i) the number of complaints regarding which investigations have been completed, investigations are being conducted and investigations are yet to be commenced;
(ii) the number of complaints which cases have been filed in courts;
(iii) the number of cases referred to the Attorney-General for legal action or advice;
(iv) the number of complaints which no advice has been received to date from the Attorney-General; and
(v) of the cases filed, the number connected with politicians?
(c) If not, why?
