Hon. Ishak Rahuman,— To ask the Minister of Highways & Road Development,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether he is aware of the fact that though many years have been passed since the completion of the reconstruction of the stretch of road from Kekirawa town to Anuradhapura via Thalawa (Thalawa Road), Ipalogama from that point has not yet been developed;
(ii) of the reason as to why the development of this road, which has a considerable volume of traffic has come to a standstill; and
(iii) the date of commencement of work of the remaining development activities of this road?
(b) If not, why?
