Hon. Ishak Rahuman,— To ask the Minister of Lands and Parliamentary Reforms,—
(a) Is he aware that —
(i) about 100 families have constructed permanent houses and are living in the “Diyawara” village (fishing village) established during the previous regime above the watershed of the Kala Weva tank within the Ipalogama Divisional Secretariat Division; and
(ii) those people have not received ownership to those lands so far?
(b) If so, will he inform this House of the date on which action will be taken to grant them ownership of these lands?
(c) If not, why?
