Hon. T. Ranjith De Soyza,— To ask the Minister of Irrigation and Water Resources & Disaster Management,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) the number of emergency disaster situations that occurred in 2017;
(ii) the number of persons who got displaced owing to those disaster in relation to each district;
(iii) the number of instances of harm to property in relation to each district; and
(iv) the amount of money allocated to pay compensation to displaced people?
(b) If not , why?
