Hon. Douglas Devananda,—To ask the Minister of Agriculture,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the cadre in the post of Agriculture Research Production Assistant of the Department of Agrarian Development in the Jaffna district; and
(ii) the number of officers who are currently serving on this post and the number of vacancies available ;
(iii) of the date on which the vacancies existing in the above department would be filled; and
(iv) whether acting appointments are given or acting allowances paid to the officers who are acting on the above post?
(b) If not, why?
