Hon. Douglas Devananda,—To ask the Minister of Resettlement, Rehabilitation, Northern Development & Hindu Religious Affairs,—
(a) Is he aware that—
(i) 150 families displaced due to the previous war situation have been living in Punthottam Welfare Camp in Vavuniya for 25 years; and
(ii) construction of Houses for these families is done in two areas as 68 houses in Sinna Adampan, Nedunkerni and 82 houses in Puliyankulama by “Lyca Gnanam Charity” while it has been informed by the District Secretariat Division of Vavuniya that these 150 families would be resettled in Sinna Adampan, Nedunkerni?
(b) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether the said people have been resettled in the said 150 houses; and
(ii) if so, since when?
(c) If not, why?
