Hon. (Dr.) Nalinda Jayathissa,—To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of National Policies and Economic Affairs,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the date on which the Anti-Corruption Committee Secretariat was established;
(ii) of the duration which the aforesaid Secretariat functioned;
(iii) of the strength of the staff that had been attached to that Secretariat;
(iv) of the number of complaints received by that Secretariat during the aforesaid period;
(v) of the manner in which such complaints were referred to relevant institutes for further investigation; and
(vi) of the total expenditure that was incurred on maintaining that Secretariat during the aforesaid period?
(b) If not, why?
