Hon. (Dr.) Bandula Gunawardana,— To ask the Minister of Plantation Industries,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether a master plan was prepared for rubber industry as per proposal No.159 of the 2016 budget;
(ii) if so, whether the aforesaid plan will be submitted;
(iii) whether an amount of 100 million rupees was provided to the Ministry of Plantation Industries in order to implement the aforesaid plan;
(iv) if so, the manner in which the aforesaid financial benefits were utilized?
(b) If not, why?
