Hon. Ishak Rahuman,— To ask the Minister of Education,—
(a) Is he aware that —
(i) A/ Manarul Ulum Maha Vidyalaya of the Gambiriswewa Grama Niladhari Division (No. 309) coming under the Anuradhapura Zonal Education Office is a school that has been included in the “1000 schools project”;
(ii) about 700 students are studying in this school; and
(iii) only a single building has been provided to this school under the aforesaid project and that no other facility has been provided to this school so far?
(b) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether facilities required for this school will be provided at least under the project called “Nearest school is the best school”; and
(ii) if so, of the date on which it will be done?
(c) If not, why?
