Hon. Ishak Rahuman,— To ask the Minister of Irrigation and Water Resources Management,—
(a) Is he aware that—
(i) Maminiyawa Lake of Kollankuttigama Grama Niladhari division in Kekirawa Divisional Secretariat division was renovated in the year 2010 under the “Vari Pubudu” project; and
(ii) the farmers have been rendered helpless due to the inundation of paddy fields of about 60 acres?
(b) Will he inform this House of the measures that will be taken to solve aforesaid matter?
(c) If not, why?
