Hon. Thushara Indunil Amarasena,— To ask the Minister of Finance and Mass Media,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the date on which the “Neeroga Lottery” was commenced;
(ii) of the initial objectives behind commencing this lottery?
(b) Will he also inform this House separately for each year—
(i) of the income received;
(ii) of the prize money awarded for winners;
(iii) of the money given for renal patients; and
from the commencement of the aforesaid lottery up to date separately in
each year?
(c) Will he further inform this House —
(i) whether there is any possibility to increase the allocations provided to the Kurunegala District of North Western Province in view of the expansion of renal diseases in this district; and
(ii) if so, of the relevant details?
(d) If not, why?
